St Georges Hospital SW London - Radiotherapy secretary attends the MDT meeting to ensure tracking of documents.

It was found that breast referrals for radiotherapy were going missing, causing delays. A new radiotherapy secretary was being appointed at the time, so part of her job description was altered to include tracking of patients referred from the MDT meeting.

The secretary now attends the MDT meeting, ensures booking takes place and that all appropriate documentation follow through.
