8. Why do you need an MDT meeting co-ordinator?

University College Hospital, London - Gynae-oncology co-ordinator streamlines meetings and acts as a link between cancer unit and centre.

To streamline the gynae-oncology service, a gynae-oncology co-ordinator was appointed. The role included attending the MDT meeting, recording decisions and passing on the information appropriately, also acting as a liason person between patients, GPs , Cancer Unit and Cancer Centre.
