At Queen Elizabeth Queen Mother Hospital, Margate a summary document is prepared by secretaries prior to the meeting by compiling a new word file with the letter dictated at the original clinic and the letter dictated after surgery. Summary files are taken to the MDT meeting on a floppy disc and projected onto a screen. The MDT meeting summary is added to the file.
